Module II: Equipment

In this module, we work with you in a live online course to find out which solution is right for you in terms of protein crystallographic equipment (length: approximately 2 hours)

After this module, you will have:

an overview of the equipment and consumables needed for protein crystallographic work in your company
an order list with all the necessary equipment components and consumables (article designation and order number) and, if you wish, an offer regarding the rental of high-priced components of the protein crystallographic equipment

Process of the module:

Joint elaboration of the objective

Before we can make an estimate of what equipment you need, we need to know what your goals are. Concretely, this means how many crystal structures you plan to solve. For example, is it a drug design project or a de-novo structure determination?

Presentation of the equipment variants and the required consumables

We will introduce you to the equipment variants and, based on the previously discussed objective, advise you which variant is recommended for you.

Collective assembly of equipment and consumables

Now that you have a solid understanding of protein crystallography from the previous two modules and the introduction to the equipment, we can now put together the equipment you need.

Creation of an order list and an offer (upon request)

After the meeting, we will provide you with a list of all the equipment and consumables you will need, as well as an optional quote for renting higher-priced equipment.
